My sister and I spent many holidays with Uncle David, Aunty Jo and Nanny at Foulden Hall, we have fond memories of our breaks with Cathy, Rachel and Jenny swimming in the pool, riding Bubbles the pony and the amazing feasts that Aunty Jo prepared for us. My Mum always warned us about his Canadian Geese but we would laugh off her warnings and giggle as we aimed to out run them. 
Uncle David and my Dad (his youngest brother) didnt see eye to eye many a time but as Ive got older I have realised that life would be boring if we always agreed and thats what made their brotherly relationship precious ( even if we were cringing when one of them started an ultication ) 

The wonderful memories I have will stay close to my heart and I have even taken my own children back to see Foulden Hall and speak fondly of the memories I have of my time spent with Uncle David.
